Super frozen tuna
Fresh tuna products from the Pacific Ocean have to be transported by air to guarantee quality. Super Frozen products create the opportunity to eliminate air freighting and its unwanted Carbon Footprint effects.
Global warming is a highly discussed issue, with Carbon Footprint on top of the agenda. We support ocean freighting as a substitute to air freighting. Ocean freighting can be 30 times more environmental friendly than transport by air. To achieve the quality of fresh tuna we have decided to deliver Super Frozen products.
Super Frozen products are fresher than fresh, because the products are immediately stored at -60°C. Fresh products can be 11 to 14 days old and deteriorating all the while before it is ultimately consumed.
